Shhh...Mr. Porter Sale Quietly Moves to 70% Off

The Mr. Porter sale just went up to 70% off and it's a few days earlier than expected. Typically, the sale moves up in tiered discounts every two weeks on the dot (which would have been Jan 10th), but they jumped the gun this year. I'm not sure who else knows about this, but it can't be that many as I haven't seen it blasted across deal forums yet Nevermind, it just got posted on Reddit (but was then taken down for some reason).

A few picks before the rush. I'll update this as I find things.

I actually find sterile white sneakers a bit uninspiring, but these Common Projects Achilles are made in a warmer shade of tan nubuck that's quite attractive and should wear in nicely.

There's a lot of Camoshita at 70% off, which is great if you love the eponymous casually tailored style of the Japanese master Yasuto Kamoshita. You should. It's awesome.

Similarly, high quality Inis Meain knits are pretty damn cheap right now. I keep almost buying this donegal wool/cashmere watch cap, but I'd appreciate it if you would just take the temptation out of my hands. I'm watching a few things right now on other sites, and I honestly haven't budgeted to take a hit tonight. *update* Yeah, I bought it. Don't judge me.
I've always found RRL prices hard to stomach, but this suede jacket in a roughly Type II trucker style is pretty lust-worthy.

Here you'll find some of the best prices you'll ever find on Eidos Napoli outside of sample sales, and from the second to last collection that will be designed by Antonio Ciongoli. If you can fit that last fair isle cotton sweater in stock, I hate you.

JK. You're alright.

If you like Barbour, it's hard not to like Belstaff - even if they seem a little snooty sometimes now that they moved into the "luxury" market. This waxed cotton jacket fits the bill, and at a very attractive price.

Be sure to shop through a cashback portal such as Ebates, which earns you money back for nothing but buying what you were going to anyway. For reference, Cashback Monitor is a helpful site where you can look up online stores and compare cashback rates. The two I use most commonly are Ebates and Topcashback (which typically has some of the highest % back rates).

If you find this post too late and a lot of stuff at Mr. Porter has moved on already leaving you sad and jawnz-less, I'd also invite you to take a look at both the Ssense and the End Clothing sales, which are also excellent this time of year. Ssense runs a bit more into the higher-end streetwear aesthetic, and End consistently offers the best value on Barbour jackets since the Sierra Trading Post of yesteryear.

Suitsupply Outlet is also newly open with code FINALSALE, though I have to say the selection looks kind of anemic this time around. Lots of old stuff that didn't sell last time, though there are still a few gems in there.
